Put Court Call on your phone

It installs from the browser you are reading this in. There is no app store listing, nothing to download and no account to create — the page you already have becomes an app with its own icon.

Your browser installs this from its own menu rather than from a button on the page. The steps for your device are below.

  1. iPhone and iPad

Tap Share — the square with an arrow out of it, at the bottom of Safari or the top of Chrome. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

iOS has no install button a page can press; the Share sheet is the only route, and it is the same in Safari, Chrome and Edge on iOS 16.4 and later.

  2. Android

Chrome usually offers Install app in a banner or in the ⋮ menu. If you do not see it, open ⋮ and choose Add to Home screen.

  3. Windows and Mac your device

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar — a small screen with an arrow — or open the browser menu and choose Install Court Call. It then opens in its own window like any other app.

Firefox does not install web apps on the desktop, and Safari on macOS uses File → Add to Dock. Court Call works normally in both without installing.

What installing actually changes

  • An icon on your home screen that opens straight to the courts, with no browser bars around it.
  • It opens in one tap instead of finding the link again.
  • Availability still needs a connection. Court Call deliberately never shows you a saved copy of the grid — a court that looks free but was booked an hour ago is worse than no grid at all. Offline, it says so.
  • Nothing is sent to your phone. There are no notifications and no SMS in the beta; your reference lives on the confirmation screen, so screenshot it.
