The complete guide
How your Wishing Wall works
From the moment you book to the video you keep. Every step, and every button, in the order you will meet them.

Who does what
- ReggiesOnline creates your celebration and hands it to you. Only we can create one, so nobody can set up a wall in your name.
- You—the celebrants, or whoever is organising—run everything from your console: your photos, your QR poster, and the screen on the day. Premium adds your own film and music.
- Your guests scan one QR code. No app, no account, no password, nothing to download.
This guide covers weddings, birthdays, debuts, fiestas, graduations and company events alike — nothing here is wedding-specific unless it says so. See what Standard and Premium each include.
Step 1 · Us
We set it up and invite you
Once your booking is confirmed we create your celebration and send an invitation to the email address you gave us. You do not need to sign up for anything first.
If the invitation has not arrived within a few minutes, check your junk folder, then email us and we will send it again.
Step 2 · You
Open the invitation and choose a password
Tap the link in the email. It opens your celebration and asks you to confirm—press Accept Invitation →.
You will then see Choose your password. Pick something at least eight characters long, type it twice, and press Save New Password →. That password is yours; we never see it and cannot read it.
From then on you sign in at reggiesonline.com/wishing-wall/manage with your email and password. Show password reveals what you have typed if you want to check it.
Step 3 · You
Your console, button by button
Everything lives on one page. You will not need all of it at once.
- Edit Event Details — your names, your date, and the welcome line your guests read. Review & Save Changes commits it; Close editor backs out.
- Customize Your Wall — your theme, your colours, and whether wishes are reviewed first. Close customization puts it away.
- Print QR Poster ↗ — opens the poster ready to print or save as a PDF.
- Hide from wall — removes one wish from the screen. Restore puts it back. Nothing is deleted.
- Download original — saves one guest photo or video at full quality.
- Archive wall — switches the celebration off. The guest link, the venue screen and the replay stop working, and the wall moves to Archived walls at the bottom of your console. Nothing is deleted, and Restore brings it all back. While it is archived you cannot download or replay it, so save your downloads first (Step 9) and archive last.
- Sign out — leaves the console on this device.
Step 4 · Before the day
Your event film
Included with Premium. Ask your videographer or editor for an MP4 (H.264), 1080p, under 500 MB. A three to five minute edit at 8–12 Mbps sits comfortably inside that and plays smoothly on a venue screen — a same-day edit, a corporate recap or a birthday highlight reel all work the same way.
If their export is larger, ask for an optimised web copy—and keep the full master for your own archive. WebM and MOV work too. On Standard this upload is not available; see what each package includes.
Step 5 · Before the day
Your photos and music
Photos: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB each. At least 1200 × 700 pixels so they stay beautiful on a large screen. Up to thirty, which is three and a half minutes of story; they rotate every seven seconds. Remove one to make room for another. Photos are part of every package.
Music: MP3, M4A, WAV or AAC, up to 30 MB. Included with Premium. Roughly twelve minutes as an MP3. Upload one track of your own, or leave it — every wall plays an ambient track matched to your theme automatically, Standard included. Your film carries its own sound, so the music steps aside whenever the film is playing.
Step 6 · Your choice
How wishes appear
Review first. Every wish waits for your approval before it reaches the screen. Best for large celebrations, or when you would rather see everything first.
Automatic (the recommended setting). Wishes go straight to the wall, and you can Hide from wall anything afterwards. Livelier, and lovely when your guest list is close family and friends.
Change it any time in Customize Your Wall, including partway through the celebration. If wishes are waiting when you switch to Automatic, a tick-box offers to publish them. Reactions and gifts always appear straight away, whichever you choose — and Live reactions, in the same place, switches them off if you would rather have no reactions or gifts at all.
Step 7 · Your guests
What your guests do
They point a phone camera at the poster and the page opens. That is the whole setup.
- A name and a message, up to 560 characters, then Send My Wish →
- One photo or video, up to 100 MB—around ninety seconds from most phones
- A reaction: ❤️ 🥰 🌸 🥂 🎉 ✨ — one tap, straight to the screen
- 🎁 Send a gift — a crown, lechon, bouquet, rose, cake, champagne, ring, gift, money gift, fireworks, butterfly or confetti. Gifts land in the middle of the screen with a burst
The first time a guest sends something they tick one box agreeing to the guest rules. They are not asked again on that phone.
Your link travels, and that is deliberate. Anyone who has it can send a wish — including family abroad, who scan it in Dubai or Canada and appear on your screen at home seconds later. It also means the link is the only key: if your QR is photographed and shared, whoever sees it can post. For a wedding among invited guests that is rarely a worry. For a fiesta, a barangay event or anything with a QR on a public tarpaulin, switch Customize Your Wall to Review first — then nothing reaches the screen until you have read it.
Nobody can flood your wall. Each guest can send up to eight photos or videos an hour, and a celebration takes 500 a day in total—far more than any celebration sends, and enough that no guest will ever feel held back. Messages, reactions and gifts are not counted against that. And everything stops seven days after your event date.
Step 8 · On the day
Running the venue screen
Open your wall on the laptop driving the projector and press Begin Celebration ♡.
Open it before your guests arrive. Give the video a minute to load on the venue’s wifi so it plays without pausing when the room is full.
Then it runs itself. Move the mouse to the bottom right and the controls appear:
- Video — play your film. Greyed out if you have not uploaded one.
- Photos — your photo story instead, rotating every seven seconds.
- Mute / Unmute — your music starts playing when you press Begin Celebration. Press Mute for speeches, then Unmute to bring it back.
- Pause / Play — holds everything where it is.
- Full screen — fills the projector. Press again to leave.
- Exit — returns to your console and leaves full screen.
Step 9 · After the day
Keeping your celebration
Everything your guests sent is in your console, and all of it can be taken away. Do this before you press Archive wall — an archived wall is switched off, and its downloads and replay are unavailable until you restore it.
- Download Wishes (.csv) — every message with the guest’s name and the time it arrived. Opens in Excel.
- Download Media — every photo and video. On Chrome or Edge you pick a folder once and everything lands in it together, with a media-index.csv naming which guest sent which file and what they wrote alongside it. Other browsers save the files one after another to your downloads instead.
- Download Reactions — how many of each reaction and gift you received, and when each one arrived.
- Replay the moment → — watch the whole celebration again, in the order it happened, with your film behind it. Slow, Normal and Fast set the pace; Restart begins again.
Save as MP4 on the replay screen records the whole celebration to one video file you can post to Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Chrome and Edge save it as an MP4; other browsers save a WebM. Your browser asks permission to record the tab first — choose This tab, tick Also share tab audio so the music is included, and leave the tab in front while it plays. It records in real time, so a long celebration takes as long to save as it does to watch.
Step 10 · Afterwards
What happens to it all
Guests can send wishes until seven days after your event date. After that your wall stays exactly as it is, but stops accepting new ones—so nobody can add to your celebration months later.
Your celebration stays online until you archive it or ask us to remove it. There is no countdown and no expiry on the wall itself. Pressing Archive wall is the one thing that switches it off, and Restore turns it back on.
Download your photos and videos in the first few weeks. From thirty days after your celebration we may remove the photo and video files from our servers to manage storage. Your wishes, your reactions and your replay stay. We will never remove anything before thirty days, and you can ask us to remove everything sooner.
This is set out in full in our Terms of Service.
Good to know
A few last things
Wifi matters more than anything else. Load the wall early, and if the venue’s connection is unreliable, ask them to prioritise the device running the screen.
